Item Description

This mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens ever seen from Bolivia. This small cabinet size piece features a pair absolutely beautiful, lustrous, gem quality, emerald green, sword shaped "textbook" crystals of Vivianite measuring up to 3.0 cm on metamorphosed Sandstone. These are some of the best quality Vivianite crystals you will see from any locality, hands down. Keep in mind that over 75% of the specimens from this find have had SERIOUS damage problems. This piece is in very good shape and is very gemmy for the species. I have never seen specimens of this quality, color, luster and gemminess before, not only from Bolivia, but virtually any world locality.
