Item Description
This mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens ever seen. This small cabinet size piece features a few absolutely beautiful, lustrous, gem quality, emerald green, sword shaped "textbook" crystals of Vivianite with reddish-brown metamorphosed Sandstone. These are some of the best quality Vivianite crystals you will see from any locality, hands down. Keep in mind that over 75% of the specimens from this find have had SERIOUS damage problems. This piece is fairly good shape compared to many I have seen, and it is one of the gemmier pieces I've seen from the find. Obviously one of the crystals has some sandstone against the front face, but I have seen worse problems with these specimens. I have never seen specimens of this quality, color, luster and gemminess before, not only from Bolivia, but virtually any world locality.
