Item Description

What a cool U.S. Vivianite specimen. This piece is a group of slender, lustrous, semi-translucent silvery blue-green to black colored crystals in parallel growth. Good shape and quality for the locality. The crystals were found a few hundred feet west of present day Interstate 95 in Richmond. Mindat reports that the specimens found were world famous, and they were written nearly 50 years ago in Rocks and Minerals.
