Item Description
When it was really active, this mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens ever seen. This miniature size piece features a few good, lustrous, translucent, emerald green, sword shaped "textbook" crystasl of Vivianite on minor metamorphosed Sandstone. The best of these specimens are some of the finest quality Vivianite crystals you will see from any locality, hands down. Keep in mind that over 75% of the specimens from this find have had SERIOUS damage problems. This piece is in great condition, and very sharp and lustrous for the species. Prior to seeing the specimens from Tomokoni, I had never seen specimens of this quality, color, luster and gemminess before, not only from Bolivia, but virtually any world locality.
