Here is a great old locality specimen of Vivianite from Bolivia. Subscribers to the Mineralogical Record probably have read the issue that was dedicated to this unique and historic locality. This small cabient size piece features a beautiful, gemmy, emerald green color, lustrous, prismatic crystal of Vivianite associated with botryoidal Limonite (after Wavellite) on Pyrite matrix. The Vivianite crystal measures 1.7 cm long. This material is rarely seen in today's market and this particular specimen is at least 25 years old. A beautiful classic Vivianite from one of the premier Bolivian mines. Valued at $550.
