Item Description
This mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens ever seen. This piece features a few beautiful, lustrous, gemmy, blue-green to emerald green, sword shaped "textbook" crystal of Vivianite with metamorphosed Sandstone. These are some of the best quality Vivianite crystals you will see from any locality, hands down. Keep in mind that over 75% of the specimens from this find have had SERIOUS damage problems. This piece is in very good shape despite one small "rub" on one of the secondary Vivianites. I have never seen specimens of this quality, color, luster and gemminess before, not only from Bolivia, but virtually any world locality. A good overall Vivianite specimen from this unusual find in Bolivia. Valued at $450 in the inventory.
