Vivianite

Item Description

A gemmy, blocky, large, vivianite crystal from recent finds in Bolivia. The gorgeous, glassy, sea-green color saturation is confined to the two broad side crystal faces. The beautiful interior gemminess is highlighted by the backlit photo. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. The large crystal contacted both sides of the pocket and has embedded sandstone on each end. Part of one edge and part on of one side face are contacted, but have no damage, per se. This is a very fine representation of the species and locale. Valued at $350.
