Item Description

This mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens ever seen. This small cabinet size piece features an absolutely beautiful, good quality, HIGHLY lustrous, gemmy emerald green, doubly-terminated, sword shaped "textbook" crystal of Vivianite on metamorphosed Sandstone. These are some of the best quality Vivianite crystals you will see from any locality, hands down. Keep in mind that over 75% of the specimens from this find have had SERIOUS damage problems. This piece is decent condition, and is one of the gemmiest larger crystals I've seen from the find. I have never seen specimens of this quality, color, luster and gemminess before, not only from Bolivia, but virtually any world locality. This piece had a label with a $1450 price tag on it for what it's worth.
