Item Description

Veszelyite is a very rare hydrated copper zinc phosphate, and good crystals are only found in few places in the world. Recently there have been some supremely fine quality specimens coming out of China, with crystals as such, lustrous and well-formed as you will see from anywhere. In 2021, Chinese mineralogist, Dr. Guowu Li's team found a new mineral, light blue, ball-shape hydrated lead zinc phosphate and named it Dongchuanite, for the location where this mineral was being found. It is a unique association mineralogically and also for simply a beautiful contrast. Ex: Jingnan (Tom) Zhang Coll, purchased from Chinese dealers as they came out in 2021.
