Item Description
Veszelyite is a rare hydrated Cu-phosphate and are a classic and desirable US thumbnail species. The finest examples in the world easily come from the famous Black Pine Mine. This is a very cute thumbnail of a sculptural pair of lustrous, translucent rich teal-blue butterfly blades accented with a bit of matrix. These outstanding specimens were collected in the 1970s and 80s from this extinct mine.
