A rare and important two-sided specimen from the Bob Trimingham Collection. An impressive, sharp, 5.0 cm, doubly terminated, lustrous, partially translucent, compound clove-brown vesuvianite crystal is aesthetically perched on the solid matrix of intergrown vesuvianite crystals. The crystals are outstanding shape, overall, with just a bit of scattered bruising. This is a remarkable example of the species and locality. Such material is RARELY on the market. Valued at $600-800.
