Item Description

Lustrous, partially translucent, sharp, clove-brown vesuvianites to about 2.0 cm are aesthetically clustered on the solid matrix of intergrown vesuvianite crystals on this rare and important specimen from the Bob Trimingham Collection. The crystals are in very fine shape, overall. Bruising is noted elsewhere, but this remains a remarkable example of the species and locality. Such material is RARELY on the market. Valued at $600-800.
