Item Description
A texbook, sharp, floater, tabular, tetragonal vesuvianite crystal with striking sharp tapered edges from the 2006 finds at this less well-known locale in Hebei Province. The highly lustrous mottled crystal has flashes of golden-yellow and honey-brown gemminess with slightly translucent edges. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a couple spots of gently bruising. A very fine two-sided example from the find and locale. This would be an outstanding vesuvianite crystal from any world-wide locale. Found in the late 1990s these are now rare China classics!
