Item Description

Sharp, lustrous, moderately translucent, mottled greenish-brown vesuvianite prisms are aesthetically clustered atop the vesuvianite matrix, like a flower, on this sculptural and rare specimen from an unknown Ontario locale. Several of the crystals are doubly terminated, including the largest, at 4.8 cm. A bit of light orange K-feldspar adds character and color. Excellent and rare material from the Art Soregaroli Collection.
