Item Description
An impressive, hefty, thick, but somewhat crude crystal section of rich reddish-brown Vesuvianite from the namesake locality for the species! The piece has good luster on both sides with a slight translucency when backlit. This giant crystal is beautifully etched and hails from the Ed Swoboda Collection originally, and comes to us from the collection of Colin Manlove. This is very old, CLASSIC material, seldom seen in this size from anywhere.
