Item Description

An attractive thumbnail sized specimen of the famous Jeffrey Vesuvianites featuring several very sharp, well-formed, prismatic, classic green colored crystals measuring up to 2.2 cm which are sitting atop a layer of beautiful purple (manganoan) Vesuvianite underneath. The main Vesuvianite crystal is doubly-terminated, and the other accessory crystals are in good shape, but the piece is contacted around the outer edges where it was separated from the pocket wall. These classic specimens, along with all the other well-known minerals from Jeffrey will sadly never be found again as this entire locality is finished.
