Vesuvianite crystal clusters of this size and quality are rare from this less well-known scarn deposit near the top of this 13, 379' mountain. These textbook tetragonal crystals are very glassy, partially translucent and have rich olive-green color (better in person). The periphery wear is certainy acceptable in the context of this rare, most excellent and desirable Colorado specimen. A must for the locality or species collector.
