Item Description

A classic Italian Vesuvianite specimen from the well known locality at Bellecombe. The crystals on this specimen are sharp and lustrous showing a gemmy olive-oil green color. The largest crystal measures 10 mm long. These Alpine Vesuvianites are not often seen on the market anymore, and are highly valued by European collectors, especially those who specialize in Alpine minerals. A great reference specimen of this hard to find historic material.
