Item Description
A fantastic thumbnail sized specimen of the famous Vesuvianites from the historic Jeffrey Mine in Quebec. This locality is sadly closed, and will never produced these gorgeous Vesuvianite again. This piece features a predominant group of very sharp, well-formed, prismatic, classic green colored Vesuvianite crystals measuring which notably doubly-terminated, making this a near "floater" specimen. The piece is highlighted by a secondary overgrowth of beautiful purple (manganoan) Vesuvianite crystals. No real damage, just a few tiny nicks. The combination of colors, along with the excellent quality of the piece make it a desirable and very worthwhile thumbnail of these unique Vesuvianite crystals.
