Item Description
A classic and excellent, doubly terminated, vesuvianite from this noted locality. The sharp, glassy, translucent crystal has very rich golden-brown color. Essentially pristine, two prism faces are partially contacted, but have no damage, per se. The two labels identify a very obscure locality in Morelos, where vesuvianite is not listed, according to MINDAT. Ex Ed Bancroft Collection.
