Item Description

These are truly some of the most distinctive crystals of Vesuvianite in the world. The bright green color is iconic, and synonymous with the locality. The Jeffrey Mine is now completely defunct and these amazing Vesuvianite specimens are no longer being found. This thumbnail specimen features a sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy, fine green colored prismatic crystal of Vesuvianite free of matrix. The classic tapered pyramidal termination is iconic for the locality. The piece is in fine shape on the front, but there is a contacted area on the back. Get these while you can because they are fast disappearing from the market.
