Item Description

A lovely green prismatic crystal group of Vesuvianite from the classic (and now nearly finished) Jeffrey Mine in Canada. This locality was one of the largest open-pit Asbestos mines in the world, and is well known for its colorful and distinctive Vesuvianite specimens which can range in color from colorless to purple to green in most cases. This piece is in great shape overall, and for the size, it's a very good overall Vesuvianite from any locality, not just Jeffrey. The color is wonderful on this miniature sized specimen, and now that nothing is coming out, be sure to get specimens from Jeffrey while you can.
