Item Description

These are truly some of the most distinctive crystals of Vesuvianite in the world. The bright green color is iconic, and synonymous with the locality. The Jeffrey Mine is now completely defunct and these amazing Vesuvianite specimens are no longer being found. This thumbnail specimen features a cluster / group of sharp, highly lustrous, translucent, bright green colored prismatic crystals of Vesuvianite free of matrix. The piece is actually bi-colored, as there are portions of the piece which are purple, hence manganese-bearing. Minimal roughness can be seen on the back, but the front / display side is in super shape. Get these while you can because they are fast disappearing from the market.
