Item Description
These are some of the more attractive and unusual Vesuvianite crystals to come out of any "Alpine cleft" locality. This piece features very attractive sharp, lustrous, gemmy, "root beer" colored prisms of Vesuvianite. The largest crystal measures 1.1 cm, which is larger than the vast majority of Vesuvianites I've seen from this locality. The Vesuvianites are good quality, and certainly remind me of crystals that I have seen from the Italian Alps. A great miniature of this hard to find material.
