Item Description
These are some of the more attractive and unusual Vesuvianite crystals to come out of any "Alpine cleft" locality. This piece features several excellent quality, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, "root beer" colored prisms of Vesuvianite on minor matrix. There is some associated bladed, green-grey color Clinochlore crystals on the piece as well. The Vesuvianites are really fine, even for the smaller size quality, and certainly remind me of crystals that I have seen from the Italian Alps.
