Item Description
Astrophyllite, an uncommon complex Ti-silicate, is a classic species from this famous alkaline massif, type locality for numerous exotic species. Striking radial sprays of brilliant golden-bronze lathes richly cover five of the six sides of the blocky matrix. The large spray is 4.2 cm across and the lathes reach 3.0 cm on this impressive and rich older piece. Valued at $500.
