Vauxite (good color)

Item Description

Vauxite is known in many forms and colors from Siglo XX, and this piece shows great blue color for the species, especially in smaller crystals. The piece hosts radiating crystal groups of strong blue color Vauxite blades which are sitting on white Wavellite on matrix. Please note that this specimen is somewhat fragile, and must be handled carefully. It is very difficult to obtain Vauxite specimens from this locality, and as you can see from the micro photos I took, the Vauxite aggregates are simply gorgeous under magnification. One does not see many Vauxites with this strong of a color on the market.
