Variscite (fine color) on Chalcedony

Crystallized variscite of this rich beautiful rich emerald-green color and fine form is very uncommon world-wide. An 8 mm pair of sparkly, gemmy and lustrous spheres is very aesthetically set in the miniature vug in chalcedony matrix. Most variscite is massive, such as the famous specimens from Utah. The very finest examples of these colorful green crystallized variscites come from this less well-known Mato Grosso, Brazil locale. This is a good one.
