Item Description
Intricate and colorful patterns of rare phosphates on this unpolished slab from the end of a large nodule from this famous locale. Segmented pods of pastel-green variscite are separated and dramatically flanked with bands of yellow-green crandallite and gray wardite. This is the Type Locality for wardite. The striking "eyes" consist of white englishite and darker green montgomeryite. This is LARGE, OLD-TIME, CHOICE material from this famed locale dating to the late 1930s mining efforts by Art Montgomery and Ed Over. From an East Coast Collection. Value??
