A striking, colorful, fabulously sculptural segmented sawed and polished nodule of rare phosphates from this famous deposit. Beautiful teal-green pods of variscite are aesthetically surrounded by bands of yellow-green crandallite and gray wardite. This is the Type Locality for wardite. The scattered "eyes" add dramatic pizzazz to this very fine example. The polished face has been lightly shellacked. This is OLD-TIME, CHOICE material from this famed locale.
