This specimen is part of the 2021 Dallas Mineral Collecting Symposium benefit auction, with proceeds benefiting Mineralogical Record, Rocks & Minerals, Tucson Gem and Mineral Society, and mindat.org. Thanks to all of our participants!

A gorgeous and complete slice of this classic early-1900s American classic material, probably from the original finds by Arthur Montgomery, the intrepid field collector of the time known for having the best of this material. It features green variscite mixed with yellow crandallite and gray wardite, in aesthetic intermixed patterning. This is 80 grams. ex Rock Currier collection, Donated to the Symposium Auction by the Currier Collection/Currier Estate
