These are old USA classics, from the older locality of Little Green Monster mine in the early to mid-1900s and the heyday of collectors like Art Montgomery. Modern variscite is very different, and frankly more common. These, with the yellow banding, are definitely harder to find. This piece features Intricate and colorful patterns of intermixed rare phosphates and is actually the end cap of a nodule from this famous locale.
