Item Description

Beautiful, lustrous and translucent, candy-red vanadinite crystals are festooned on matrix and nicely accented with minute calcites, from this obscure small Arizona locality. The largest crystals, to 7 mm, are hoppered. Quite characteristic in style, but uncommon from this locale in this quality. They look like the Pure Potential Mine vannies from La Paz County, but are not. Ex Harold Urish Collection # 804 and obtained from George Stevens in a trade in 1994.
