Item Description

Scintillating, fire engine-red, vanadinite barrels to 6 mm totally cover all sides of the sculptural matrix on this very showy fine specimen from the 1970s finds at this noted locale. An earlier generation of smaller yellow-orange vannies underlies the red barrels. Glassy, calcite micro rhombs richly cover one side of the vannies. Calcite of this richness is very uncommon from this locale. The vannies may be small, but they are fine. In outstanding condition with only a couple of points of contact on one end.
