A superb and shapely vanadinite thumbnail from the famous Old Yuma Mine, near Tucson. This mine has produced some of America's finest vanadinites. The highly lustrous, translucent, rich burnt-orange crystal with striking skeletal stepped-growth "wings" looks twinned! Specimens of this quality came out in the 1960s and 70s. For highly unusual form and color, it doesn't get any better than this from Old Yuma. A unique form!
