Item Description

Here we have a beautiful and rarely seen Vanadinite specimen from the Hamburg Mine, not the Pure Potential Mine or the nearby famous Red Cloud Mine. In my experience, specimens from the Hamburg Mine are much more difficult to find on the market. This piece is filled with beautiful, very sharp, highly lustrous, strong glowing red colored hexagonal prisms measuring up to about 4 mm on matrix. The crystals are best seen with magnification, and we have photographed the piece with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality. A really attractive locality piece that would make a nice addition to any suite of secondary ore minerals, or specimens from Arizona.
