Vanadinite ps. Wulfenite

Item Description

Here is a really unusual replacement pseudomorph of one lead species by another! The original delicate blades of wulfenite have been replaced by thousands of tiny, sparkling crystals of vanadinite. While not a big specimen, or with big crystals per se compared to typical examples of either species, this is actually quite a good representation of this rare replacement - and significant to this important USA mining location as well.
