Item Description
An important matrix specimen of Arizona vanadinite, for the location and the association on white calcite-covered matrix that simply makes it beautiful. Crystals to 1 cm showing interesting complexity are perched on matrix. These are unique, historic USA specimens, rarely seen for sale today. This was long in the Southwest suite of Bill Panczner: curator of the Arizona Desert Museum and author of MINERALS OF MEXICO (1987). The collection disappeared for a couple of decades and was purchased recently by us.
