Vanadinite on Goethite

Item Description

A beautiful classic Vanadinite specimen consisting of lustrous, red-orange color tabular hexagonal crystals, forming a beautiful little mound on a matrix of grey-black Goethite or possibly Hollandite. The largest Vanadinite crystal is 1.0 cm across. Good quality all the way around. These specimens from Taouz are not terribly common these days, and they deserve more attention for being some of the most impressive for the species extant.
