Gorgeous combinations of Vanadinite on Baryte from Mibladen are absolute classics. The brilliant, orange-red color and mirror luster of the Vanadinites are about as good as it gets, and the contrast with the clean, light-colored Baryte is enthralling. Some of the crystals have taken a few hits, perhaps at the time of mining or maybe over the many years, but to just look at it you can appreciate how outstanding the aesthetics are overall. This was #9205 in Kay's collection, acquired in 1981 from Lidstrom's.
