Item Description
Sculptural and showy two-sided combination plate from famed Mibladen, source of the world's finest vanadinites. Sparkly, translucent, tabular, hexagonal, reddish-orange vanadinite prisms, to about 3 mm, are richly peppered on the starkly contrasting matrix of parallel-growth clusters of bone-white baryte blades with black manganese oxides. The back side is distinctively different. Oxide-coated vanadinite prisms nearly totally coat the baryte matrix. Ex De Natura (Les Presmyk) dealer stock. A choice, rich, colorful and artistic two-sided combination example of the species from the noted locale.
