Vanadinite on Barite (ex Obodda)

Item Description

An unusual and excellent vanadinite on barite from the late 1980s - early 1990s finds at Mibladen. This classic and desirable combination features two generations of vanadinite on the bladed barite. Gemmy and lustrous, brick-red prisms to 7 mm are generously concentrated and scattered on an earlier generation of tiny, super sparkly, light brown vannies. The color variations on the two generations make for a striking and colorful specimen against the white bladed barite. In excellent shape, overall, trivial bruising on the plate face and periphery wear, concentrated in one spot, are noted, but have minimal impact on the quality of this showy combination specimen.
