Item Description
It goes without saying that the finest crystals of Vanadinite are those from Morocco, and along with Mibladen, the locality at Taouz Caïdat produces some of the most iconic Vanadinite specimens ever found. This attractive small cabinet display specimen dates back to the 1980s and features dozens of attractive red colored hexagonal crystals of Vanadinite measuring up to 4 mm sitting atop contrasting semi-stalactitic grey-black Goethite matrix, as is typical for the locale. The color, luster and overall quality of the Vanadinite crystals is excellent. A great old-time representation of these well-known specimens. The piece comes with a label from van Scriver's Minerals (pre-dating their Heliodor business).
