The phenomenal Vanadinite specimens from Mibladen are the pinnacle for the species. Of all the crystallized Vanadinite in the world, we haven't seen anything better for the last 50 years from any other locality. It's important to note that were it not for these specimens, Vanadinite would not be terribly well represented in the mineral world in terms of crystallized display pieces. This gorgeous large cabinet specimen features fine quality, rich red color, sharp, lustrous, hexagonal tabular crystals nearly fully coating the underlying matrix. Looking closely I can't find any real damage, though I'm sure there are micro imperfections that can be found under magnification. If you look closely, you will see than some of the smaller crystals are rather gemmy and brilliant. The largest crystal measures 7 mm across. One rarely sees Vanadinite specimens of this size from Mibladen. A great quality example from this world-famous locale. Priced at $1,500 in the inventory.
