Vanadinite (large crystals!)

Mibladen Vanadinites are truly the finest examples of the species known. This material has been coming out for a few decades, but they are still remarkable to see as nothing can rival their superior color and quality. Fine specimens are still highly valued on the market today, and it's easy to see why. This is a wonderful and specimen of this classic material as features a group large individual Vanadinite crystals off matrix. One typically does not see such a large crystallized compound groups of Vanadinites like this, as they are typically only seen in single tabular hexagonal blades which rarely reach over 2 cm in size, but the largest crystal on this piece is 4.2 cm(!). This is not your typical specimen from Mibladen as the crystals are not only large crystals, but they are superb quality to boot. I can see one small contact point on the corner of the big crystal, but the piece is otherwise in excellent condition. The glistening luster combined with the dark red hue and sharpness of the crystals are certainly significant, and they are amplified by the beautiful hexagonal habit of the Vanadinites. If you collect Vanadinites (or minerals of the Apatite Group), Moroccan minerals or just really excellent examples of classic material, don't pass this one up. It was DIFFICULT to photograph, and we really tried to convey the quality, but the piece really looks better in person. Valued in the inventory at $4,000 for size, quality and uniqueness for the material.
