Item Description

The world-class Vanadinite specimens from the Mibladen Mining District in Morocco are without question are the pinnacle for the species. As a matter of fact, without the Mibladen specimens, Vanadinite would be rather under-represented in the mineral world. Of all the crystallized Vanadinite in the world, we haven't seen anything better for the last 50 years from anywhere outside of Mibladen. This gorgeous miniature specimen is a superb quality group featuring incredibly lustrous, rich red color, sharp, thick, hexagonal crystals measuring up to 1.4 cm, with minor matrix. Looking closely I can't find any major damage of note to the main crystals, maybe just a few TINY nicks. A great quality Vanadinite specimen from this world-famous locale. Priced at $1,000 in the inventory.
