Item Description
This mine is one of the most well-known Vanadinite localities in the western hemisphere. Sharp, sparkling, rich red color hexagonal crystals of Vanadinite measuring up to 4 mm are sprinkled all over the underlying narrow matrix. Great quality all around, and I really can find any significant damage. Old material to be sure, and the piece comes with a collection label and a dealer label from Dick Morris and Mark Hay. The back of the label states that it was originally collected by Les Presmyk in 1970, and resided in Les' collection along with the collection of Tony Potucek.
