You can't get better quality Vanadinites from any locality outside of Mibladen. The largest, finest color, and most attractive specimens of the species have been coming out for 40+ years. Top specimens from this localiyt still command a premium on the market, and they are still being mined today. Here we have a nice miniature display piece featuring a hanful of sharp, attractive, translucent, hexagonal blades of Vanadinite with a beautiful red color measuring up to 7 mm on matrix. No real damage that I can see with the naked eye. Older material for sure, dating back a few decades. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#6077). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
