Vanadinite (ex Harold Urish Collection)

Item Description

This is one of the classic Vanadinites that truly demonstrates the solid solution series with Pyromorphite. The greenish hexagonal crystals, which measure up to about 2 mm, have superb luster. They are sharp and attractive under the microscope as you can see from the micro photos I took. For added emphasis many of the crystals have orange terminations. Ex Harold Urish Collection, whose label on the base states that the piece was collected on Dec 29, 2012.
