Item Description
Also called the "North Geronimo Mine," this prolific locality has produced all sorts of ores, as well as a broad variety of collector specimens (though not many in very fine and aesthetic quality). Here, you have lustrous, super bright-red, barrel-shaped crystals of Vanadinite, to 4 mm, contrasting with an earlier generation of reddish-orange microcrystals. VERY RICH and colorful, with lots of "sparkle" to it, pieces of this quality are hard to find on the market today. See the Mineralogical Record, Vol. 27, Pp. 366-372 as but one of many references.
